Memories of growing up by the beach prompted me to use seaweed images for the quilting. Family damask tablecloths, linen sheets, and commercial fabrics were used for the sandy background. My hand dyed green and blues represent the ocean, with hand embroidery depicting water marks and erosion on stone tiles.
